If you are under 65 and have a permanent and significant disability, the NDIS funds assistive technology (AT) and home modifications as "reasonable and necessary" supports.
Getting started
- An OT or allied health professional prepares an AT assessment.
- The assessment is submitted to the NDIA for approval.
- Once approved, providers like Enviva can supply and invoice directly.

- Mobility aids (walkers, wheelchairs, scooters)
- Pressure care (mattresses, cushions)
- Bathroom and toileting equipment
- Beds and transfer aids
